Capability build, legal & contract operations

In development: triage and draft acceleration for routine agreements, with a human reviewer before anything reaches a counterparty.

The situation

Legal and contracts teams burn hours per agreement on the same high-stakes work: reading every clause against internal risk policy, tracking which terms deviate from playbook language, and drafting redlines, often for contracts that are mostly boilerplate. Junior reviewers miss subtle risk; senior reviewers spend first-pass time they've spent a thousand times before. Turnaround on NDAs, MSAs, and vendor contracts becomes the bottleneck for deals closing.

What we're building

A multi-agent contract review pipeline for extraction and risk scoring rather than drafting from scratch. An ingestion agent parses PDF/DOCX into clause-level structure. A classification agent maps each clause against the firm's playbook: standard, acceptable deviation, or high-risk. A risk-scoring agent gives reviewers a triage order. A redline agent drafts suggested fallback language from the approved position library, with rationale. A negotiation brief summarizes what to push, what's walk-away, and what's safe to concede. Every stage keeps a human in the loop before anything is sent.

Intended impact

Intended impact: fewer hours on first-pass review, faster turnaround on routine agreements, and a more consistent risk posture across the team. This is a capability build in progress, not a completed client engagement yet.
