Terms of Service
Last updated: August 3, 2026
1. Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website operated by Luceat at luceat.dev (the "Site"), as well as any discovery calls, proposals, or consulting services we provide (together, the "Services"). By using the Site or engaging our Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or Services.
2. Who we are
Luceat is an engineering consultancy. We design and build software systems that help businesses remove repetitive work and operate more clearly. Contact: Contact@luceat.dev.
3. Use of the Site
You may use the Site for lawful purposes only. You agree not to misuse the Site, attempt to disrupt its operation, scrape it in a way that harms performance, or use it to send spam or harmful content. We may update, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time.
4. Discovery calls and inquiries
Booking a discovery call or contacting us does not create a client relationship or obligate either party to proceed. Any paid engagement will be governed by a separate written agreement (proposal, statement of work, or contract) that will control over these Terms if there is a conflict.
5. Intellectual property
The Site and its content — including text, branding, design, and graphics — are owned by Luceat or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute Site materials without our prior written consent, except for reasonable personal or internal business viewing of the Site.
Work product created for clients under a paid engagement is handled under that engagement agreement, not these Site Terms.
6. No professional advice on the Site
Content on the Site is for general informational purposes. It is not legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice, and case studies describe engagements or capability builds without guaranteeing identical results for every client.
7. Third-party services
The Site may link to or use third-party services (for example, scheduling via Cal.com). Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party sites or services.
8. Disclaimer
The Site and Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Luceat and its principals will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or business opportunity, arising from your use of the Site. Our total liability related to the Site will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100). This does not limit liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, or liability under a separate client agreement for paid Services.
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Luceat from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Site or your violation of these Terms.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will change when we do. Your continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
